Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is Andrei Boacă, sole trader trading as Dreilex. Kwintio is a Dreilex product.

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• your email address;
• the language you chose on the site (RO, NL, EN or FR);
• the date and time you signed up;
• where you signed up (for example, “landing”).

If you fill in our survey, we also store your answers, your email address, your first name (if you give it), whether you agree to a 15-minute call, your language and the date.

For the waitlist we don't ask for your name. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser only remembers your language choice, locally (localStorage, key kwintio-lang). It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.

We use your email address only to tell you when Kwintio launches and to send you a few launch-related updates (for example early access), in your language. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything that happened before.

We use survey answers only for product research: to understand what entrepreneurs and businesses need and to decide what to build. If you agreed to a call, we may email you to schedule it. The legal basis is again your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box in the survey. You can withdraw it at any time.

To deliver the site and protect it against abuse, Cloudflare also processes technical data such as your IP address (our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don't keep this data.

We don't sell your data, we don't share it for marketing, and we don't make automated decisions about you.

We keep your data until Kwintio launches and for at most 12 months after that. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data earlier, we delete it without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.

Survey answers are kept for the same period as the waitlist.

We use a small number of service providers (processors) who act only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare, Inc. – hosts the website and stores the waitlist and survey answers (Cloudflare D1). Cloudflare runs a global network; when data is processed outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Zoho Corporation B.V. (Zoho Mail, EU data centres) – the mailbox we use to reply to you and to send launch emails.

To display the site, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google) and a styling library from jsDelivr. Like any web server, these services receive your IP address when the page loads. We don't receive or keep that data.

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to object to it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent. Reply to any of our emails or write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.

If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
